I had never eaten Tteokbokki before and it was actually pretty good. The Ramen noodles were tender and tasty. The cheese sauce added a nice flavor. It was very easy to prepare in the microwave. Only 500 calories for the whole thing. It was just a little expensive.
Very satisfying Asian inspired instant mac n cheese. This instant cup of noodles has it all when it comes to flavor, texture, and simplicity. It contains two types of noodles and a package of cheese sauce. Once you dump the noodles and cheese into the cup, add water, and microwave everything, you get a tasty lunch. I feel this mac n cheese is much better than others I've tried before because it is nicely cheesy with a slight savory herb flavor. The flavor of the cheese sauce is similar to the flavoring you get on Cheetos and the herb flavor simply enhances the overall satisfaction of the meal. The noodles are a wonderful play with textures because you have a typical ramen style noodle that sort of binds up in the cheese sauce and then there is a larger, dense and chewy noodle that offers a good bite in the mix. I feel this may be the gold standard when it comes to instant mac n cheese; it is really tasty. Once you try this instant mac n cheese, you will probably not want to go back to Easy Mac.
This rabokki cup from KINIKORA is a new experience for me from Korea. I've had tteokbokki before and I've had ramyeon with cheese before from several different brands but I've never had them mixed into one cup! This is creamy, cheesy, gooey, and savoury all in one bowl.
Packing a whopping 500 calories per cup, you eat only one of these as a meal because they're calorie and carb-dense. The directions were very easy to follow but you need to be very careful removing from the microwave because you'll burn your hands if you don't use a pot holder. The texture was very gooey and deliciously cheesy when mixing the contents after microwaving. If you stir for 30 seconds rapidly, you'll have a very well-mixed creamy treat. :)
I think these are premium though they're a bit high priced. I liked them enough to buy again but these are more of a treat meal at around the current asking price of $6 or so per cup.
Rabokki, a fusion of spicy rice cakes (tteokbokki) and ramyeun noodles, is a cherished Korean street food delight. With this instant version, there's no need to venture out—I can enjoy it from the comfort of home! Personally, I adore the cheese flavor the most.
First time trying a cheese ramen, I am hooked! Move over Mac and cheese, there’s a new dish in our house that we love even more. These were easy to make, added hot water and heated in the microwave, so quick and easy on those days where I need a quick meal. It’s cheesy and so satisfying, this is my new comfort food!
